J. Matthew Shamblin, Senior Pastor

 

Matt is a native of West Virginia. He is married to Chrissy Shamblin.  He has served churches in both Virginia and West Virginia. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science. He is also graduated from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Religion, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Sacred Theology.  He is currently perusing his PhD. in Leadership at Tennessee Temple University.  He is the Evangelism Director for the Pioneer Baptist Association and First Vice President of the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists.  You can follow the Pastor on his blog by clicking here.

Donna Short, Church Secretary
 
Donna has been the secretary at NCBC since 1986. She has served in countless ministries at the church, often going above and beyond because of her love for Jesus. She enjoys cooking, walking, and her grandchildren. Donna and her husband Gary have five grown sons and fourteen grandchildren, all living within ten miles of their home.
